TRAGIC STORY...

i just finished reading a book that made me want to cry. It's called Holding the man and it was written by this writer who was homosexual and documenting his relationships and struggle with AIDS. what was tragic was that he infected his partner and eventually his partner died b4 he did. But the whole description of his partner's downward spiral and eventual death just got me super choked up. damn sad. he realli did love the guy.

and something the writer said in his book realli struck me.

When he saw what was left of his lover after the disease had totally ravaged him, he said: "There's not a lot of dignity in death eh?"

it made me wonder if there is any truth in that.

The last time i was that impacted by a book was when i read sleepers. This one was damn good tho. hahaha.. guess this is wat happens when my dear old mum shuts me up at home.. i read these books and get really emotional about them. hee. =)
